FOCUS

FOCUS takes as its starting point various real and symbolic fires that recur throughout history: a riot in a prison, the fire at a film studio in Rome, a character gazing at the horizon while waiting for a blaze, a volcano, and a meteorite. A play unfolds between reality and fiction, memory and image. Landscape, narrative, and matter intertwine in an investigation into what remains and what disappears. The exhibition unfolds across two floors. The ground floor features sculptures in dialogue with photographs and drawings, while the upper floor is transformed into a darkened room where moving images and light take center stage. In this space, the video Ninguna noche en llamas (2024) is presented, alongside other installations and sculptures.
