A work of yours that you particularly like and why?
The work "soft defence" is a floor sculpture made of ceramic. The form resulted from the examination of man-made defense mechanisms. I particularly like the contrast between the fragile material and its aggressive shape. The opposites inherent in the work - hard vs. fragile, artificial vs. organic, and offensive vs. defensive - open up a field of tension by questioning and transcending the boundaries of defense.

From which artist would you like to own a work?
Eva Hesse, especially one work of her “Accession” series

Which art movement has inspired you the most so far?
Post-Minimalism

What is your favorite part of your job?
I love researching new materials and the experimentation phase that follows, it is always exciting to approach new techniques and media.

What makes something worth making?
When something does not let go of me. A form of tension that is only released when the thought translates into a material.
